Skydive Big Sky offers a complete skydiving school for both newcomers and expert jumpers alike. Our focus is on customer satisfaction and providing the ultimate in experience to anyone visiting our facility. We use of state of the art equipment and programs to accomplish a professional atmosphere with professional results. All of our instructors are trained and members of the Canadian Sport Parachute Association.

Ground School
Ground School is your first step to becoming a fully qualified solo jumper. Skydive Big Sky in offers a complete skydive experience for newcomers. Our focus is on skydiving safety and providing the ultimate in experience to anyone visiting our facility. Our Skydive School has been designed with you in mind. Progressive Freefall Program
In the Progressive Freefall (PFF) program a student skydiver jumps with one or two PFF Instructors. This will give you approximately 40 seconds of freefall to work on specific tasks that you and your own personal instructors have practiced on the ground before you have boarded the aircraft. Progression through the program is done in sequence. Progression with some tailoring is allowed to benefit the student. A prerequisite of taking the Progressive Freefall Course is that you MUST complete the Ground School course.

Skydive Big Sky employs a rigorous maintenance program on all of our equipment. All parachutes are equipped with AAD (automatic activation devices) manufactured by Cypres and Vigil. At Skydive Big Sky we own and operate our own aircraft. We do not lease aircraft from other outfits who have only their bottom line in mind.
